More success for Ash Green School

On July 3rd, 2007, the Secretary of State for Education awarded Ash Green School the status of Specialist School for the Arts.

Increased Intake

In September 2007, the school will have an increased intake of 34% on 2006, despite a regional and national trend of declining numbers. As a result, Ash Green School has the highest increase in popularity amongst parents/carers in Warwickshire, representing a renewed belief in the school.
GCSE results deliver a double century!

2010 results for 5 A* – C including English and Maths increased by 100% on 2008 to a school record of 67%, 17% above the government target.
2010 results see all Y11 students leave with at least 5 A* – C grades in any subject – life changing grades for 100% of year 11, 32% above the government target.

5 plus GCSE A* – C including English and Maths results increased by 100% on 2008. The story of dramatic improvement continues at AGS. The 14% increase from 2008 to 2009 was a huge breakthrough for the school but this has been smashed by a further 20% increase this year.
