2009-2010 Curriculum Interventions: New Staff appointments
March 24, 2009
AGS is pleased to announce the appointment of 3 new colleagues, arriving to support the drive towards our highly ambitious targets for 2010. Joining us for this academic year are:
Daniel McShane. A graduate, Daniel brings with him experience in working in secondary education in far flung parts of the world. He has ambitions to join the teaching profession. He will support Year 11 students in English and Maths and Daniel is also a level 1 qualified FA football coach.
Marina McQueen. Marina has ambitions to further her experience before possibly joining the teaching profession. She will support Year 11 students in English and she brings with her an excellent collection of qualifications, not least her degree.
Lee Parry. Lee is a former professional rugby player, having served successfully at Coventry RFC. Lee still has ambitions of even greater achievements in the competitive world of professional team sports and he joins us to add to his sphere of experience. Lee is a graduate and will support Year 11 students in Maths.
AGS has again embarked on an ambitious programme of interventions across the Year 11 teaching timetable, aiming to further improve on the sensational results for 2009. Featuring class re-structuring, additional learning times, personalised tuition and a new tutor group, we aim to set new records in exam performance for the 6th consecutive year.
